Our future is in your hands

Young people with disabilities can rely on good job! For that they just need to request the center of social adaptation “Caritas”. Here in particular disabled people can become proficient in gardener’s profession. They can, if all of us will help them. Rehabilitation center needs some support to buy garden stock and tools.

It is almost impossible to find a job for person with disability in Ukraine. The same situation is for the young people with disabilities – it is difficult to gain education for the future work. One of professions, that are available for disabled youth, is a gardener. And there is unique place in the country, where disabled students can graduate as gardeners. It is located in Ivano-Frankivsk region and has its own educational program. Unfortunately, project is almost on the verge of closing and the only reason for this is lack of money.

This educational project was perfectly adapted to abilities and skills of disabled people. And the most important, it fully guarantees that invalid will definitely receive all the skills, necessary for the future work of gardener. And he or she could work with other healthy people on equal rights! Except this, Rehabilitation Center “Karitas-Ivano-Frankivsk” leads their alumni till the moment of their first job.

It is a unique peculiarity and great value of this project.

Unfortunately, there are no other programs in Ukraine as such. You can only imagine, about 90 percent of youth in Germany are involved into professional activity. They have full-time job, communicate with colleagues, and can rely on tomorrow. Here, in Ukraine, only few can say something like that.

“Karitas” Center staff have a dream to adapt and make available professions for disabled people as more as they can. They have completely working studio on sewing, wood, paper and glass beads.
But the very great dream of disabled children is gardening. To make the world of flowers available we should find money for horticultural sundry. Employers of the Center ask for your support. Probably exactly your donation would be a ticket to somebody into happy, interesting and confident life!
