The next step to recovery

12-year-old Andrii is a new example of the younger generation, the future of Ukraine. But this purposeful guy has a great test – in May doctors diagnosed Lymphogranulomatosis. Within 2 months of treatment the family has already passed the first despair, they are ready to be a difficult road to recovery. And now a new challenge – a fungal lung impression. This complication occurs during chemotherapy and is extremely dangerous. To go further, it's urgently needed to overcome the fungus in the lungs.

Meeting with Andrew, it's prompted the idea that not every boy at the age of twelve has a permanent hobby. Even more, we're surprised by the fact that it's a sports photography. Andrii's eyes look at the world through the prism of the camera lens, notice the beauty of the surrounding world, watch the movement of the lives of athletes. It's always interesting to talk with the boy because he's very observant, and has his own opinion. Therefore, his decision to become an architect in the future is quite natural.

Currently Andrii underwent the first chemotherapy course. The first success of the boy and his family's already there: doctors say that the disease is easy to treat. And quite suddenly a very dangerous complication appeared: a fungus struck of the lungs. There is a threat to life, because the fungus is able to destroy lung tissue. We can't continue further treatment of this disease.

For the treatment of fungal a medication "Kansydaz" was prescribed by doctors. As Andrii's is a big boy, he needs 34 bottles for the treatment. The total cost of this course is 285 000 UAH. Family tries to collect funds on their own, and the full amount for them is simply impossible to find. We'll collect on UBB the funds required for weekly treatment. This 7 bottles of Kansydaz cost 58 743 UAH.
