Start of Camp

Our first camp for blind children ages 5 to 9 has come to an end. Throughout the week, we actively learned, discovered new things, spent a lot of time together, and simply relaxed. It was an incredible opportunity for the children to learn simple everyday skills and become more independent: making sandwiches and tea, baking delicious cupcakes, folding clothes, learning to walk with a cane, and much, much more. For the parents, it was a chance to understand how to properly raise their visually impaired child and what to pay special attention to!

A huge thank you to Anita Solovey, the Dobro.ua platform, and all—absolutely all—of the donors who made this summer educational and rehabilitation camp for blind children possible! Meanwhile, we’re now welcoming older children aged 13 to 18. A new camp—a new program! We’ll share the results very soon!
