This nice fellow’s name is Misha, he is 8 years old. He is very happy, curious and the best child ever for his parents. At first glance, it would seem that he is a very active kid, who likes playing with a toy construction set and jigsawing puzzles. But due to very serious disease – spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) – this boy can’t move his legs and live a full life. Despite this terrible diagnosis, he attends school and has lots of friends there and beyond.

Parents don’t lose their hearts try to make every effort to put their son on his feet, in spite of all pain they feel. But there is no medicine, which could have helped him in Ukraine; it is available in the world, but the family can’t use it. Misha needs to undergo the necessary course of treatment. Numerous intramuscular injections will stimulate muscles and stop illness’s further development. However, funds for all needs are needed and the low-income family faces difficulties. They live in the countryside. It’s very hard for them to arrive in the capital and get their boy to Bersenev Medical Center.

Let’s support these poor people and help them in their uphill struggle for Mikhail’s happy future!
