The lungs of children and adults with cystic fibrosis are incredibly vulnerable to infections. Bacteria multiply and destroy lung tissue once getting in a favorable environment – bronchi filled with viscous sputum. As a result, the person simply suffocates. Regular sterilization of respiratory exercisers and inhaler spare parts used by the patient is critical to reducing the infection level.

Viscous sputum accumulates in the bronchi of a person with cystic fibrosis, which is not easy to cough up. One should take medications, do inhalations, massages and exercises to clear the respiratory passages. New wards, the parents of children with the incurable disease cystic fibrosis, regularly apply to us. These families are confused and are looking for any support. First of all, our conversation begins with a list of vital equipment that can protect and prolong the patient's life, including a sterilizer. The parents boil spare parts of the inhalers and exercisers in the pots because they don't have their finances to buy a sterilization device. But they do deteriorate and need to be replaced even faster, and some are forbidden to boil at all. And it is impossible to boil spare parts in the hospital in the case of admission to the hospital.

That is why we make an effort to purchase equipment that will make our wads' lives a little easier and allow them to sterilize the utensils they use every day conveniently and effectively. In this project, we are raising funds for fifteen sterilizers.
