Disease robs mum from children

This girl’s name is Ludmila, it means “being nice to people”. She is 25 and she has two beautiful growing sons : Valentin, he is 7 years old, almost an adult, and Vanya, he is only a year and a half. Their mother needs an urgent surgery to remove a brain tumor. We want to grant Valentin and Vanya a wonderful childhood, full of joy and laughter, and of course being always next to their beloved healthy mom! In 2011 Luda had her second son born. After birth mother's health deteriorated, she started to feel frequent headaches. She had to take care of her children and did not pay any attention to this killing the pain with pills. Soon the pills stopped to help, dizziness appeared, hearing started to weaken, there were disruptions of vision. Only later on she raised the alarm, turned to the neurosurgical department, where they found a tumor in the brain.

They decided to take surgery. The removal of the entire tumor, according to the doctors, was not possible because it could paralyze Luda, so they removed only a part of the tumor. The operation was successful, doctors reassured that the worst was behind.

But the final MRI test showed that the tumor resumed growth. Neurosurgeons from Kiev, Moscow and Israel believe that it is entirely possible to remove the tumor with gamma knife, the other methods of treatment are dangerous to Luda’s life and health. Unfortunately in Ukraine this operation costs more than 120 000 UAH, so we decided to carry it out in Moscow.

The cost of such operations there is about 50 000 UAH. Gamma Knife can be used only for small size tumors, so the WE NEED TO COLLECT MONEY URGENTLY! In Moscow they are ready to assign an operation in early March.

This is unreal for a young family with two small children to collect so much money for the second time. Luda needs help of people who are not indifferent! Because having a brain tumor at the age of 25 years is just awful! Because she is a very nice and positive woman! Because she is the mother of two children, who she was dreaming about and whom she loves so much! Because it is possible to save her life! She is so young and has a strong will to live. And she will cope with this problem, she just needs a small help and support. Please, help her to raise money for the surgery!
