Unbearable pain and shame are killing me

Anna Mendyk has a very complex form of scoliosis. It is more and more difficult for her to walk every day. Her back is so crooked that the child is ashamed of himself. In addition, her back hurts… It all started with the treatment of her leg. Initially, Anna had a congenital dislocation of her right leg thigh. Her parents did their best to cure the girl. However, this treatment gave a serious complication to the back. The child got scoliosis. The parents did their best to stop the development of spinal deformities, but the back became more and more crooked. All attempts were in vain.

Now Anna is 15 years old, she has graduated 9th grade. The child studies well, plays the piano and dreams of going to college. She has already reached the age that she worries about her appearance. In addition, scoliosis causes many side effects. In independent life, it will be difficult for a girl to accept all challenges… The parents has completed many massage and rehabilitation courses. And all the doctors convinced them that only surgery could straighten the spine. It really is so. Implants will make the back straight. However, the cost of the operation is UAH 240 000. 

Parents were left without money due to constant ineffective efforts to straighten Anna’s backs. But they really want their daughter to be happy! The surgery will be performed at the International Centre for Neurosurgery in Kyiv. After all, professional doctors promised a perfectly straight back and Anna dreams of it.
