Uncertainty inside

Her illness is mysterious. Expressly, the diagnosis is not defined. Valeria has been struggling for six years and trying to find out the cause of her illness. She is tortured with pains, numerous abscess emerges inside her body, thrombosis tucks her enlarged portal vein, the heart is invaded with the abnormal metabolic processes. The woman cannot live and work normally, but she has two under-aged children, 14 and 9 years old, whom she brings up on her own.

The struggle for life began in 2012 when Valeria turned to the hospital and was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. But later, after the necessary examinations, this diagnosis was not confirmed. And a number of diagnoses came under the question: myelodysplastic syndrome, idiomatic myelofibrosis, autoimmune hepatitis. Valeria was treated in Ochakiv, Mykolaev, Dnipro, and Kyiv hospitals. She also addressed The Shalimov Institute, but without result. All past treatment has not yielded results, while Valeria’s state only worsens. She loses weight every day, feels constant weakness, pain. Nausea does not retreat, and every day Valery has to take a whole handful of pills.

The last visit to a doctor at the Institute of Endocrinology ended with the words of a specialist: "I do not know what other examinations and tests we can conduct. Try to find a clinic abroad to diagnose and start the correct treatment. "It was terrible for Valeria because she has no money for foreign clinics. But friends insisted – she should be cured and live for the sake of her children. The MedikalPark clinic (Turkey, Istanbul) agreed to take Valery in. The investigation bill is $ 2,700. And this amount is not final; it can vary depending on the results of the survey. But if the result of the survey turns out that treatment can be done in Ukraine, Valeria will be treated at home.

We plan to raise UAH 80,000 to pay for Valeria’s examination cost.
