NewRun Poltava Half Marathon: Charity Kilometre

The NewRun Poltava Half Marathon is a major running event organised by NewRun, a sports organiser that actively promotes running culture and organises top-class sporting events across the country. Poltava holds a special place in the hearts of the NewRun team, as it is their home town, a place they always long to return to. 

Continuing the charitable mission the team began at the NewRun Lviv Half Marathon and the MHP Run4Victory Kyiv Marathon, this time we are joining forces for the Charity Kilometre as part of the NewRun Poltava Half Marathon. 

A fundraising campaign has been launched on the charity platform dobro.ua to purchase the consumables needed to provide medical care to patients at the UNBROKEN Centre. All funds raised will go towards meeting the daily needs of the surgical and rehabilitation wards, where military and civilian patients are receiving treatment. These events bring together thousands of male and female veterans and civilians through sport as a tool for recovery, helping not only to improve physical fitness but also to support those who are currently undergoing the challenging journey of treatment and rehabilitation.

Be part of this great mission! Choose your challenge — the 21 km, 10 km or 5 km distances — or join the special 1 km Charity Run to support our defenders. 

To take part in the race:

1. Download the racenext.app  from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Complete the verification process in the app.
3. Select the event from the calendar and the distance you wish to run.
4. Pay the entry fee.

All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a starter pack with gifts from our partners.
