Having a baby with additional needs is always a tragedy for the family, but support can help the family to adjust and to work on the baby's development, even if the baby is different and needs special treatment. Bogdan was born 8 weeks ahead of the schedule. 8 weeks for an adult is nothing, but for a baby, this is a very long time, affecting the development of the nervous system, internal organs and brain cells. As a result, the boy has cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, symptomatic epilepsy, delayed psycho-speech development, and partial atrophy of the optic nerves.

Bogdan is a difficult kid, but not hopeless. In order to compensate for the condition as much as possible, he trains at home every day, undergoes massage courses, exercise therapy, and rehabilitation. But, in addition to exercises, the child needs special devices with the help of which stability will be ensured, skills will be consolidated and the work of the mother with the baby will be facilitated. Bogdan is 5 years old, but he is just learning to sit on his own.

A local manufacturer has created a special rehabilitation chair, which allows to maintain the correct position of the child during the day and to avoid curvature of posture. It is very comfortable and functional: the seat and back are equipped with soft cushions, adjustable in depth and angle of inclination, the legs are fixed with straps; armrests, table top and footrests are adjustable in height and angle. In the “sitting” position in this chair, conditions are created for keeping the head in an upright position, fixing the body, improving the functioning of the arms, correcting posture, correcting the hips, forming an emphasis on the feet, etc. The devise is on wheels, and the child can be moved around the apartment, it is convenient for feeding, learning and playing the child.

Mom is looking for an opportunity to purchase such a wonderful chair, unfortunately, the social security agency issued a completely different chair that does not meet Bogdan's needs, and the boy physically cannot sit in it. There only hope is for the responsiveness of ordinary people.
