This is a story about the strength of spirit, the desire to live and protect your child. Natalia has been fighting cancer for seven years. She is the mother of a daughter with a severe disability; therefore, the well-being of another person depends on her condition. To survive, Natasha needs expensive treatment with the drug Tyverb, which is not on the public procurement list.
Natalia is 46 years old. She is an accountant by profession, but she never returned to work after the birth of Dasha. Her daughter suffered a brain haemorrhage at birth, which provoked cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Dasha is 21 years old and has been bedridden since birth. Natalia's grandmother, Valentina Mikhailovna, helps her daughter with her care.
Every three months Natalia takes zoledronic acid to treat a bone tumour. She has undergone 18 courses of chemotherapy with Trastuzumab. This drug inhibits the growth of tumours, but has no effect on the brain tumour because it does not pass through the blood-brain barrier. Tyverb can do this, but the state does not provide it to patients. As soon as the drug is purchased, Natasha will start treatment.
The cost of a year's course of chemotherapy with Tyverb is very expensive. Your support means precious time that Natalia and her daughter will spend together and without suffering. Dear friends, let's provide Natalia with a year's supply of this life-saving drug!
