Dear donors, we sincerely thank you for supporting our project and inform you about the closing of the fundraising for equipment for the children's rehabilitation department of St. Nicholas Hospital!
Our fundraising began on May 25, 2023 in the amount of UAH 35,360,000.00. to provide equipment to the Detached Unit "St. Nicholas Hospital" of the Communal Non-Profit Enterprise "Lviv Territorial Medical Association "Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital of Intensive Treatment Methods and Emergency Medical Care" in order to be able to provide a full range of rehabilitation care more effectively.
Since during the fundraising period funds were received from other funding sources as well, the collection amount was decreased to UAH 34,448,160.00.
Based on the letter of request for the transfer of funds dated September 27, 2023, funds in the amount of UAH 5,195,000.00 were transferred to our account. These funds were used to partially purchase equipment for the children's rehabilitation department of the St. Nicholas Hospital. Below we add a photo report and a list of equipment:
- The system for body mobilization and functional rehabilitation Imoove 600, ALLCARE innovations, has a wide range of functional rehabilitation applications. This system will allow functional and dynamic treatment of a huge number of musculoskeletal pathologies, introducing a new approach to rehabilitation. It is a means of rehabilitation based on the use, control, rehabilitation and optimization of the body's natural spiral movements. Rehabilitation performed in complete safety, speed and amplitude are regulated according to therapeutic needs.
- Stairs for retraining walking are designed to train coordination of movements and the ability to maintain balance; balancing in a standing position; assistance in restoring walking skills, independent climbing of stairs and training of various muscle groups.
- The enShock focused piezoelectric shock wave therapy device will expand the capabilities of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) with a new point shock wave therapy module. Thanks to the exceptional accuracy of piezoelectric focusing, the device will allow specialists of the children's rehabilitation department to conduct therapy on trigger points without painful palpation for the client.
- The device for laser therapy Opton Pro will make it possible to treat superficial injuries of the musculoskeletal system much more effectively, because the stimulation of cells under the action of laser radiation is characterized by an acceleration of cell proliferation and an increase in intracellular metabolism.
In connection with the fact that the German organization DAHW from the city of Würzburg agreed to co-finance the project "The best rehabilitation for UNBROKEN children", the collection of funds was stopped and the amount was reduced to UAH 17,439,600.59.
After receiving and implementing the rest of the collected funds of the project, a final report will be provided in a timely manner in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures of the Board of Directors of the MBF "UBB".
