Galina-Nicole underwent neurosurgery

Little Galina-Nicole successfully underwent a complex neurosurgical procedure—reconstructive cranioplasty.

The girl was born with a severe congenital skull deformity that was putting dangerous pressure on her brain and could have led to serious developmental disorders. In such cases, it is extremely important to act in a timely manner, and thanks to joint efforts, this was achieved.

The surgery marked an important milestone in the child’s treatment. It reduced pressure on the brain, created conditions for proper skull formation, and gave her a chance for further development.

Galina-Nicole is currently under medical supervision, going through the postoperative period, and gradually recovering. The rehabilitation phase lies ahead, but the most difficult stage is already behind her.
