New opportunities for people with disabilities. 2

The least protected people in society are people in wheelchairs, especially if they are children. On the streets such people are often not found. In our city there are such categories of persons with disabilities who, without a "social taxi", remain hostages at home and are unable to solve their social, medical, educational and rehabilitation needs. Especially in this case, we want to draw attention to the transportation of children with disabilities by means of "social taxis".

СО "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" provides versatile support and assistance to dozens of outcasts, those for whom help from "Caritas" is the only chance for salvation.

With the help of volunteers, two cars with special equipment were purchased for our youngest members of society. There are 5 cars in total in the city. First of all, the "social taxi" service is provided to children with disabilities with diseases of the organs of the musculoskeletal system, who cannot move independently or move with the help of crutches or a wheelchair. Such children can get to a rehabilitation center or a medical institution for free, attend school in a specially adapted car.

However, there are not enough funds to buy fuel for the functioning of the "social taxi". At dobro.ua, we have already raised funds for fuel for the transportation of people with disabilities, because such support is extremely valuable and necessary. Now we are collecting funds for fuel again. In total, we need to collect 32,000 UAH in order to carry out at least 1,500 transportation of children with disabilities within two months.

Therefore, we appeal to all who have good will and a sincere heart. Help in this noble cause, and goodness and mercy will surely return to you a hundredfold! Let's not be indifferent to the pain and problems of children with disabilities!
