New hearing aids for Valia are a chance to hear

In November 2024, the project “New Hearing Aids for Valya – the Opportunity to Hear” was posted on the dobro.ua website, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for hearing aids for Gordiychuk Valya (diagnosis – chronic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, 4th degree).

In December 2024, the fundraising was completed, and in January 2025, we received funds to the fund’s account and paid for the devices. On January “18”, Valya received her long-awaited hearing aids and is already using them daily.

Valya is now 13 years old, the girl is a 7th grade student at the Korosten school. The new hearing aids will help her in her studies and development: to improve her pronunciation, better understand others and interact with the world around her, not to be different from other peers, make friends and make plans for the future.

Valya previously had hearing aids, but they no longer worked properly and needed to be replaced. Therefore, the girl’s parents asked for help, as they did not have the funds to pay for the technological devices themselves.
