We are sharing with you the news about Misha's treatment. At the end of May 2021, the boy underwent a follow-up examination at the Acibaden Maslak clinic, Istanbul. The results showed that the metastases in the spine disappeared. In the brain, where there was a tumor, everything is also fine. Therefore, we can say that the treatment in Turkey has passed successfully and completed for the next three months.
The second stage is the boy's rehabilitation. Misha is conscious, but does not understand anything and does not move on his own. The boy is also a carrier of a tracheostomy, which became the main reason for the refusal of many rehabilitation centers in Ukraine. It was decided to start the boy's recovery in the clinic "Anagennisi" (Greece), and after a while return home to Ukraine. The main advantage of the clinic "Anagennisi" is an integrated approach and vast experience in the recovery of patients with brain damage. In addition to rehabilitators, Misha is under the supervision of an oncologist and a neurologist, and undergoes various examinations. The first successes in treatment have already been made: the boy's tracheostomy was removed, and now he is breathing on his own.
