Equipment for the treatment of bleeding

Boryspil Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital needs equipment that will be used for surgery of critically ill patients.

Argon device SURTRON ABC is used in endoscopy for burning ulcers, removal of polyps, tumors, resections of the liver and kidneys. This device also provides quality and speed of recovery, because it does not injure the human body. The outdated method is a soft tissue incision, which is very traumatic and difficult to heal.

30-35 people are admitted to the surgical department per week, 2-3 of them with gastrointestinal bleeding. Since the hospital does not have the necessary equipment, a conservative method is used for bleeding – a drug is injected into a vein that stops the bleeding, but not in all cases it is an effective way.

During and after the occupation, approximately 200 servicemen were treated, doctors worked efficiently and effectively, and all servicemen were left with limbs. A slightly smaller number of civilians also arrived. If necessary, the hospital staff is still ready to provide assistance to people affected by the war and the military.
