Equipment for military rehabilitation!

In July 2023, the project "Equipment for military rehabilitation!" was posted on the dobro.ua website of the MBF "UBB", the purpose of which was to collect funds for the payment of medical rehabilitation equipment for the treatment of military personnel at the Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology in the city of Uzhhorod on the total amount of UAH 2,238,695.00

In December, we withdrew the sum of 554,955.00 hryvnias for the purchase of a device for passive rehabilitation of the elbow. The transfer of this device was reported, and the collection of funds continued.

In January 2024, we withdrew the amount of 525,927.00 hryvnias for the purchase of the Apparatus for passive rehabilitation of the wrist.

The collection of funds continued, but the amount collected was not enough for the purchase of the targeted equipment and the project lost its relevance. Therefore, in connection with these circumstances, we have stopped fundraising. And we ask you to dispose of the remaining funds within the framework of the collection in the amount of UAH 8,028.24 in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures of the BO "MBF "UBB".

A multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (3 doctors of physical and rehabilitation medicine, 2 neurologists, 3 neurosurgeons, 4 physiotherapists, 2 occupational therapists, 2 psychologists and 2 speech therapists) was created on the basis of the KNP "Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology" of the Transcarpathian Regional Council (Uzhhorod). which specializes in medical rehabilitation of people with damage to the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. Since 2022, it has been treating and rehabilitating military personnel, emergency service workers, and civilians who have received injuries of various degrees of severity as a result of military operations or shelling (including rocket attacks), namely mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries with musculoskeletal injuries apparatus or nervous system, fractures, etc. On average, about 2,000 patients are admitted here per month.

To provide full and effective medical care in the institution, there is a need for passive rehabilitation devices, especially devices for passive rehabilitation of the hand - elbow, shoulder and wrist.

Complex rehabilitation with the use of physiotherapeutic devices allows you to increase its effectiveness by 30-50%, as well as to practically halve the duration.
