Equipment for military rehabilitation!

In July 2023, the project "Equipment for military rehabilitation!" was posted on the dobro.ua website, the total amount of UAH 2,238,695.00

In December, within the framework of the project, a sufficient amount was collected for the partial implementation of the project, and therefore in December 2023, we withdrew the amount of funds 554955.00 hryvnias. for the purchase of a device for passive rehabilitation of the elbow. The actual price of the device was UAH 555,000.00, including funds from the dobro.ua in the amount of UAH 554,955.00. We paid for the device on December 20, and it was delivered to the institution on December 28, 2023. A report was issued for the transfer of this device, and the collection of funds continued.

In January 2024, a sufficient amount was collected for the purchase of the second necessary device, and therefore in January 2024, we withdrew an amount of UAH 525,927.00 for the purchase of the Passive Wrist Rehabilitation Device. The total amount of the device was UAH 540,799.40. (including funds from the dobro.ua in the amount of UAH 525,927.00), our Fund used the rest of the funds from its own budget.

A multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (3 doctors of physical and rehabilitation medicine, 2 neurologists, 3 neurosurgeons, 4 physiotherapists, 2 occupational therapists, 2 psychologists and 2 speech therapists) was created on the basis of the  "Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology" of the Transcarpathian Regional Council (Uzhgorod). which specializes in medical rehabilitation of people with damage to the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. Since 2022, military personnel, emergency service workers, and civilians who have received injuries of various degrees of severity as a result of military operations or shelling (including rocket attacks), including mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries with musculoskeletal injuries, have been treated and rehabilitated here. apparatus or nervous system, fractures, etc. On average, about 2,000 patients are admitted here per month.

To provide full and effective medical care in the institution, there is a need for passive rehabilitation devices, especially devices for passive rehabilitation of the hand - elbow, shoulder and wrist.

Complex rehabilitation with the use of physiotherapeutic devices allows you to increase its effectiveness by 30-50%, as well as to practically halve the duration.
