Sofiika's eyes beg for help

"The stories of children with cerebral palsy are so mush alike! They are often born prematurely, as my daughter, there are often medical errors and negligence, and the result is the same – a long-awaited child is born, and instead of joy and happiness he brings to his loved ones a terrible disease - cerebral palsy - a synonym of tears, sorrow, hospitals, and often of ultimate hopelessness". 

All these were the thoughts of Sofia’s mother when she was sitting in the clinic of neurologist Vladimir Bersenev. For this four-year old girl and her mother, as well as for many families where a child is ill with cerebral palsy, the clinic is the last hope of recovery. In these 2 years of her life the girl, born prematurely, was taken to 10 hospitals, took a big amount of drugs with the names that would make your heart contract. Let alone massage, pool, ipotherapy etc. But it was all in vain!

And now her mother is holding Sofia in her arms (the 2-year-old girl is unable to sit) and waiting for their turn to be treated in doctor Bersenev’s office. But in reality, she is waiting full of hope for her turn for the child’s recovery – because all of us are born to be happy!

Little Sofia needs to undergo rehabilitation, but her mother can not afford to pay for treatment of her daughter. And we can't simply sit doing nothing! Help little Sofia!
