One girl from twins
Anya was born at 30-31 weeks of pregnancy, one of twins. She spent the first week of her life in the intensive care unit because she was born with a low weight of 1,480 grams and could not breathe on her own. The child's condition at birth was very serious due to respiratory disorders of immaturity.
The girl underwent tracheal intubation and was started on artificial lung ventilation (ALV). The child was in the neonatal intensive care unit, receiving infusion and post-syndrome therapy. Only later was Anya transferred to the neonatology department for nursing. Anya came home when she was a month and a half old. From the age of 2 months, the child was under the constant supervision of neurosurgeons and neurologists, and systematically underwent massages. At the age of 2, rehabilitation courses began on a regular basis, which the girl has to undergo 3-4 times a year.
Regular classes give positive results: little Anya has already learned to roll over from her back to her stomach, crawl, sit, stand on a support, walk, but with support. Thanks to her sessions with a psychologist and speech therapist, Anya has a small vocabulary, knows colors and geometric shapes, and reacts positively to everything around her. At the age of 8, Anya went to the 1st grade at a regular school, learned a certain number of letters and numbers, and made friends with her classmates. And these are great successes for a little girl who is fighting an illness. Every day Anya tries very hard to improve her condition.
"Anya loves everything related to water. She is fond of finger painting. She likes to listen to fairy tales and funny rhymes. My daughter is a cheerful and very happy girl," says Anya's mother, Tatiana. But in order for Anya to be able to undergo the rehabilitation she needs, she needs money. Anya's mother asks everyone who cares to respond to her request and help her daughter!
