In September 2023, the project "One-year-old Makarchyk needs hearing aids!" was posted on the dobro.ua website, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for hearing aids for Druz Makar (diagnosis - bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of the 4th degree).
Only six months ago, Makarchyk's mother noticed that the child was hard of hearing. After the diagnosis, the boy was also prescribed a cochlear implant, but this can only be done after a hearing aid. And the sooner the child receives hearing aids, the sooner the operation will be performed, this is very important.
And that's why we were very happy when the collection was completed in a month, and in October 2023 we were able to pay the full price of the devices for Makar 99,200.00 UAH. And on November 6, 2023, the child already received his devices.
