A dual-wavelength diode surgical laser was delivered

We are pleased to inform you that on 16 October, a dual-wavelength diode surgical laser LIKA-surgeon+ was delivered to the Department of Abdominal Surgery of the National Specialised Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt’. The manufacturer is Fotonica Plus (Ukraine).
Today, in Ukraine, congenital vascular (lymphatic and venous) malformations are treated only in the Department of Abdominal Surgery, where about 300 children from all regions of Ukraine with this pathology receive help every year. Previously, these children had to be sent for treatment to foreign clinics.
The newly received modern surgical laser will be used to perform unique operations on arteriovenous malformations.
The equipment has already been put into operation and is helping young patients.
