We are pleased to inform you that on 23 October, a premium quality intraoperative ultrasound scanner Bk5000 was delivered to the National Children's Hospital ‘Ohmatdyt’. The manufacturer of the equipment is BK Medical ApS (Denmark). With the help of this equipment, the Emergency Surgery Department and the Paediatric Neurosurgery Department will be able to perform ultrasound diagnostics during operations. This equipment is indispensable during surgical interventions for cancer, vascular anomalies of the brain and spinal cord, and epilepsy surgery.
