Olya needs to become stronger than the disease. 2

Living with cystic fibrosis means working hard on a daily basis. To be stronger than her disease, Olya has to do inhalations several times a day, take a handful of pills, capsules, move a lot, and train her lungs to make it easier to cough up sputum. Otherwise, she simply can't go on living!

Olya is 16 years old, she has a great deal of determination and is very diligent: she follows all the doctor's recommendations to feel better. And this year, she entered college to become a lawyer. Believe me, it's the result of great effort for a child who has a malfunction of all of her organs due to genetic damage. Now the girl needs to juggle her education and physical exercise – a crucial activity that helps cough up the thick sputum from her lungs more efficiently. Otherwise, it will keep accumulating and will stand in the way of her breathing. However, the girl's treatment procedures and learning curriculum hardly leave her any time for a gym, plus it is best for her to stay away from crowded public places at this time, given the current extensive spreading of viral infections and the need to cough up the sputum during the exercise. The best option would be to buy a treadmill and a breathing trainer, for Olya to exercise at home. Also, the cups and tubing for her inhaling device need to be replaced regularly, for the inhalations to be effective and for her bronchi to stay clear of any kind of infection.

The family will not be able to buy the training devices and consumables on their own, their budget is depleted by regular medical treatment expenses. However, cystic fibrosis doesn't allow for any timeouts. We, like Olya, believe there are lots of good people out there who would be willing to support her on this journey.
