"Baby boxes" for special babies. 2

How to help young parents whose child has just been diagnosed with a serious disease? How to provide urgent help to a baby? Parents need at least a little time to recover from the news. But when a baby is born with cystic fibrosis, time can be critical. The disease from the first day begins to destroy the body, it must be stopped as soon as possible. Our foundation advises such parents on the arrangement of home treatment and provides them with special "baby boxes" – a set of quality medical equipment necessary for daily procedures.  

The baby will immediately feel better with them. We can prepare such boxes due to your help.

What does such set contain?

- Inhaler with extra set of consumables to it. A child with cystic fibrosis should be inhalated every day, this is a must for lung preservation. No inhalations means no breathing. Thus, good inhaler is the first thing that should appear at home when such a diagnosis is made.

- Sterilizer. Cystic fibrosis causes an increased vulnerability to infections, which, commonly, tend to become chronic. To simply wash breathing equipment (nebulizer, breathing simulators, etc.) with water is not enough. Boiling is quite effective, but boiling wears out the expensive parts of the inhaler faster and is not always available. So, sterilizer is very helpful.

- Bactericidal lamp. When there is a patient with cystic fibrosis in the family, he requires special standards of cleanliness. Sure, you are not obliged to keep your home as sterile as surgical room, but the lamp still helps reduce the risks to the baby.

In addition to medical equipment, parents have to deal with many other issues with medication, physiotherapy, hospitalizations and so on. In this project, we solve only part of their problems, but such support gives parents the strength to fight on, and the child begins treatment in time. To proceed in this manner - we need your help.
