To pull yourself together and help your bloodline as soon as possible, the family needs support: informational, material, moral.

What is this disease? Due to DNA breakage, all body secretions have an increased viscosity and this disrupts the work of many organs. As a result, the food should be high-calorie and it is necessary to take enzymes with it. To remove sputum from the lungs, you need to inhale daily and perform physiotherapy exercises, and take handfuls of medications. Despite partial state support, treatment requires a lot of money from the family.

To support such families, we give them special "baby boxes". These are kits that include the most necessary treatment from the first months of life for a child born with cystic fibrosis:

• an inhaler with a set of consumables for it, because the baby needs to make inhalations several times every day. This is how thick sputum is removed from the lungs;

• sterilizer for disinfecting spare parts for inhalers, breathing simulators, and children's tableware. This is very important because the lungs of people with cystic fibrosis are extremely vulnerable to infections. Once in the bronchi filled with viscous sputum, the bacteria multiply and destroy the lung tissue;

• a bactericidal lamp that will significantly reduce the risk for the baby to catch an infection and get sick;

• a useful jumping toy that will simultaneously please the baby and help parents with physical therapy.
