The war is particularly painful for people with limited mobility – the elderly, people with disabilities, and the seriously ill. Most of them cannot independently go down to shelters, go to the store, or even provide themselves with basic hygiene products. Every day, they fight not only for their lives, but also to preserve their dignity in the difficult conditions of war.
Ukrainian Charitable Alliance is raising 18,000 UAH to provide people with limited mobility with essential food and hygiene kits. This is basic but vital assistance that allows people to feel safe and not be left alone with their daily struggles.
The care package includes: black tea, sugar, buckwheat groats, rice, pasta, stewed pork, sardines, whole condensed milk, biscuits, oil, nappies, wet wipes, bar soap, liquid soap, paper towels, shampoo, washing powder, toothpaste (the cost of one package is 1,000 hryvnias).
This aid is a way of saying: "You are not alone in your struggle". Our support reduces the pain, anxiety, and daily stress of people who cannot fully care for themselves.
Every hryvnia counts, and 18,000 UAH means 18 people we will be able to take care of in the near future.
