Pavlo was born prematurely at 34 weeks. He was immediately taken to intensive care, where doctors fought for every day of his life. After intensive therapy, a long recovery process began at home.
When Pavlo turned six months old and still hadn’t sat up or crawled, his parents received a devastating diagnosis – cerebral palsy (CP). From that moment, their lives changed completely: instead of toys – physical therapy, instead of trips – endless visits to doctors.
Despite everything, Pavlo is growing into a bright, sincere, and very intelligent boy. He moves with support, holding both hands, loves learning poems, and enjoys socializing with other children, even though he can’t play on his own. He loves swimming and riding a scooter – as much as his condition allows. He is drawn to life, to people, and finds joy in crowded places and new experiences.
He has already undergone several surgeries, including the Ulzibat procedure and operations on both hip joints. But in order for Pavlo to stand confidently on his feet and have a chance at an independent life, he needs systematic rehabilitation three to four times a year.
Due to the war, the family now finds itself in a difficult situation. That’s why they turned to our foundation for help in launching a fundraiser for Pavlo’s rehabilitation at the Kozyavkin Clinic.
We ask everyone with a kind heart to help this wonderful boy get closer to his dream – to stand and walk on his own.
Every donation is a step toward a better life for Pavlo.
