First words are “Thank you!”

Delivery of a child is always joy. But when a sick baby is born to a family, it is extremely difficult for the parents to believe it is different from others and that their baby from the very first days of its life needs expensive treatment and care. That was the case of the two-year old Dasha Badianova. The girl needs an urgent operation on the posterior veil of her soft palate, the money for which her mother lacks.

Once discharged from the Artemivsk maternity hospital, Dasha’s mother turned for consultancy to a specialized clinic. The doctors’ verdict was the necessity of a plastic reconstruction of the soft palate. Such corrective surgery is made when a child is 1 to 2 years old after an obligatory orthodontic treatment.

Now Dasha is only 2.5 years old, she is very active and inquisitive but it is very difficult for her to pronounce even the word “MAMA”. The mother brings up her daughter on her own and is in great need of financial support for the surgery. Buying medicines for the operation and subsequent rehabilitation require UAH 5,600. The Prychestnist Charity Fund has already provided UAH 600, UAH 5,000 to be raised. We address all people who care to help the girl recover. And her gratitude to all of us will be the words “Thank you!” pronounced by the girl herself.
