News September 2025

We have good news.

Valeria successfully underwent a complex surgical procedure, after which a period of rehabilitation began. The operation, which lasted about 9 hours, ended without complications for the child. Preliminary rehabilitation, which lasted almost a month, played an important role in preparing for the operation. It helped to reduce muscle tension and partially prepare the back for surgery.

After the operation, Valeria was transferred to the rehabilitation unit for the night, as it was vitally important to monitor her condition at first, and then to the orthopaedics and traumatology department, where her mother was waiting for her.

Currently, the child needs constant monitoring of indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature.
The child's condition has now more or less stabilised. She has become more active, enjoys watching cartoons, and is a little cranky from time to time because she has to stay in bed all the time. This is a good sign — her usual mood and desire for an active life are gradually returning.
A period of recovery lies ahead, but we believe that everything will be fine: life without a corset, without pain, with the ability to walk again on her own two feet.

Her mother is sincerely grateful to all the caring people who contributed financially to the fundraiser and gave Valeria a chance to live without pain!
