Masha is a cheerful 12-year-old girl. She was born with a diagnosis of hydrocephalus. Since early childhood, her health has been fragile, and at the age of two, doctors diagnosed her with chronic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss of grade 3.
When Masha was just four years old, her biological mother lost parental rights. The girl came under the care of a kind woman, Olena, who became her true support and loving mother.
Now, Masha studies in the 7th grade of a special school in Bila Tserkva. Thanks to sponsors, the school managed to provide her with hearing aids. However, with time, these devices have worn out and now need replacement. Unfortunately, the family cannot afford the expensive hearing aids on their own, which is why they need support.
Despite all the challenges, Masha is growing up to be a creative and active child. She loves drawing, is passionate about dancing, and has won medals in physical education competitions.
For children with hearing impairments, hearing aids are the key to the world of sounds. They help children perceive speech, develop their language skills, and fully communicate with peers and adults. Hearing aids allow a child to learn better, explore the world, and actively participate in life. These are not just technical devices – they are tools that give children the opportunity to feel like a part of society.
Help Masha hear. Your contribution is vital.
