Every child has their own little joys and unique qualities that make them special. Illia is a very emotional and bright boy who truly enjoys simple childhood pleasures: swings, playing with a ball, balloons, and the attention of people around him. He also has his own little habit – he likes to hold a small favorite object in his hand, which helps him feel calmer and more confident.

Because of cerebral palsy and delays in speech and psychological development, it is difficult for Illia to perceive the world around him in the same way as other children do. He only partially understands spoken language and is not yet able to speak himself. Many everyday activities still require the help of adults, as his self-care skills are only beginning to develop.

But every day Illia shows that progress is possible. Thanks to regular therapy, the support of his family, and the work of specialists, he is gradually discovering new abilities and opportunities.

We have already supported Illia by raising funds for his previous course of treatment and rehabilitation. At that time, the support of caring people became an important step forward for him. After the therapy, his mother noticed positive changes: Illia became more active, more interested in people, and more eager to interact with those around him.

He has also started making his first sounds and words that his family had been waiting so much to hear: "Mama, give me!".

For some people, these may seem like simple words. But for Illia and his family, they are a huge achievement – the result of daily work, patience, and faith in the boy’s abilities.

Now Illia needs our support again. Ahead of him is important work with a speech therapist, physical therapy, sensory integration, and other specialists who help him better understand the world, develop communication skills, and become more independent.

Ongoing rehabilitation requires significant financial resources, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for the family to cover the necessary therapy on their own.
