Support mother's hope! 3
Egor is a cheerful, mega-positive teenager whose life is darkened by cerebral palsy. The guy has many years of hard work, work on himself, dozens of rehabilitation courses, several surgeries. Thanks to this, despite his diagnosis and the initially gloomy forecasts of doctors, Yegor not only walks by himself, but also goes to school on his own, is engaged in Paraolympic swimming, is a Candidate for Master of Sports, he is a multiple winner of various competitions on the city, regional and all-Ukrainian level. He is fond of computers, attends computer courses, loves chess very much.
And it all began, like everyone else`s story: difficult labor, premature rupture of amniotic fluid, 17 hours of anhydrous period, double cord entanglement, hypoxia, cerebral hemorrhage. Resuscitation, head drip, oxygen, lack of favorable prognosis. But this little man's thirst for life was so strong that he scrambled out, no matter what. At the age of 5 months, a terrible diagnosis – cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis – after which the father immediately left the family. All these years mother has been single-handedly treating the child.
Multiple courses of rehabilitation, constant lessons at home, not immediately, but gave results – the baby began to sit, crawl, at the age of 4.5 he took his first steps. Odesa, Eupatoria, Berdyansk, Penza, Lviv, Truskavets, Khlopy in Poland – an incomplete list of cities in which Yegor has repeatedly undergone rehabilitation. Now, due to the shortening of the leg, the gait differs from the gait of a healthy person, but even experiences specialists “take off their hat”, when the see what amount of work has been done.
Egor is 17 years old – a period of intense growth, a period when muscles and tendons do not keep pace with the intensive growth of bones. Often, such children are simply distorted and deformed during the growth period, and they begin to walk on bent knees. To prevent this from happening to Yegor, in order to preserve and increase all the acquired skills, he needs the most intensive rehabilitation course. Mom is not able to pay for expensive treatment on her own, she only hopes for the support of caring people.
