From the moment we learnt Tetiana’s story, we were impressed by her strength and confidence. Tetiana has three sons, and she does not want to depend on miserable government support. Still, she wants to provide a better life for her children. She makes all the necessary steps to change her life, and now she needs our support. We are always happy to help mothers on their journey to economic independence, and now we want to support Tetiana and her family.

Tetiana has a degree in economics and was working in the field for ten years. When her first child was born, she got a job in a kindergarten her child went to to be closer to her baby. When her second child went to kindergarten, Tetiana struggled to find a better job and started working as a cleaner to provide for her family. When the war conflict broke out in Eastern Ukraine, her husband joined the military to defend the country. Participation in war conflicts affects people. Upon his return, Tetiana’s husband as well has been having difficulties adjusting to ordinary life. But some time ago, the family welcomed their third child, and the family carries on with their lives.

The mother of three has always dreamed of working in the beauty industry to make people look beautiful and happier. So she signed up for a course in hairdressing organized by the United Nations Population Fund. Tetiana also completed other hairdressing courses; she gained the necessary knowledge and started thinking about opening her own business. An internship at an express hairdressing salon that Tetiana is doing at the moment is tiresome; it requires you to work quickly and efficiently. But despite being tired, Tetiana is happy with this experience and wants to continue her studies.

As part of our Future Professions project, we already helped Tetiana to purchase the hairdressing tools required for her work. Tetiana dreams of opening her own business, something that she likes to do that could provide a better life for the children. We want to help Tetiana move closer to her dream of opening her salon by raising funds for a hairdressing backwash chair and a hairdressing chair. Changing your life after 40 is possible, and mother three Tetiana is a good example of this.

We feel positive that Tetiana's dream comes true. One day, she will welcome her first client to her salon! Let's together help Tetiana's dream come true!

The BO "Bright Kids" team would like to ask you not to be indifferent and to support our project!

UPD: the name of the project have been updated. Old project name: "Support Tatiana and her family on their way to their goal".
