Half Marathon for Dzherelo children's happy smiles

Children and youth with disabilities of Dzherelo Сhildren’s Rehabilitation Centre have not attended any programs and classes for more than 5 months due to the quarantine. They were isolated from live communication with peers and specialists. Quarantine showed that complete isolation and restrictions on physical activity negatively affect the health of the children. From August 25, 2020, the Dzherelo Centre began to gradually restore the provision of offline services for children and youth with disabilities. We wanted to reopen our doors to all our clients as soon as possible, simplify everyday life for parents and do it safely! To do this, we need to purchase personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, disposable towels), disinfectants and antiseptics for children with special needs and employees of the Centre. The monthly requirement is more than UAH 25,000. The funds raised within the project were used to purchase disposable towels and disinfectants and have been used by the children and employees of the Dzherelo Centre since September 11, 2020. Together, we managed to meet the almost monthly need for protective equipment and protect our children, specialists and visitors from COVID-19!
