Tablets for children from low-income families

For more than a year now, Ukrainian children have been forced to live and study in a war zone. Doing homework in between air raids (sometimes in a bomb shelter), looking for points of invincibility with working internet to join the lesson online during regular emergency power outages, and many other actions and activities that must be constantly performed to be able to learn.

But all these hardships and difficulties are nothing compared to the fact that most families from small towns and villages in Kharkiv region do not have computers, tablets or smartphones to organize their home learning process. Over the past year, the war has depleted families financially, so many of them are unable to buy the necessary equipment today.

We have selected applications from 20 low-income families with 2 or more schoolchildren who are in dire need of technical means for online learning. Therefore, as part of this project, we are raising funds for 20 low-cost tablets (up to UAH 3700 per tablet) to help children study at home or in the points of invincibility. To purchase this equipment, we need to raise 74,000 UAH.
