Alisa was born premature, at 29th week of her mother's pregnancy, weighing 985 grams and 36 cm tall. Long three months the baby was lying in incubator under vehicles. After that, she was discharged home with a weight of 2kg 300 grams. The Baby grew at home like all of the kids, but soon her parents found the reasons for concern. They began to notice that visually child doesn't respond to them, doesn't respond to bright toys and covers her eyes periodically by hands. And this concern was reasonable: it turned out that the baby is blind on both eyes.

Concerned about such a problem of their daughter, the parents asked for advice of the specialists. After the detailed examination of Alice in Donetsk Region Children's Hospital she was diagnosed retinopathy St. IV-V (blindness of both eyes). The mother with a child went from Donetsk to Kyiv in NDSB "Okhmatdyt" (ophtalmology department), where after a large number of tests the diagnosis was confirmed (Retinopathy of Prematurity St. V. Cicatricial phase of both eyes), and was planned the the dates of operations. The meaning of the first two operations is to restore the retina, as Alice diagnosis (retinopathy of prematurity St. 5) means the final retinal detachment and total blindness. Next, operations will be needed to install the lens and to replace the lens of the eyes.

For the first operation the family and friends of Kaspyrovych's helped to raise them funds, and the remaining amount of money parents collect by taking out a loan at the bank. The operation went quite well, and now little Alisa feels good. Due to the sensitive and professional hands of medical personnel of NDSB "Okhmatdyt" her parents have hope that their girl will see and will be a healthy child. But for Alisa to see by both eyes it is necessary to be operated the second time. According to the preliminary calculations, obtained from doctors, the surgery and subsequent rehabilitation will take at least 6 ooo UAH. The family of Kaspyrovych doesn't heav this sum. Alisa is the third child in the family, she has two elder sisters, who together with their parents are worried about the baby and hope that their little Alisa will see them, as well as the world where she lives, and will experience its beauty.

Lewis Carroll's book "Alice in Wonderland" is known and beloved not only by children but also adults of all generations. After all, this story is the real world of children's dreams and fantasies. Unfortunately, Alisa, her mom and dad have only faith that the baby will live in her own WONDERLAND. A country where live kind and helpful people who can help Alisa restore her sight. People who she would be able to see once and thank them for help, when she grows up.
