Disadvantaged and defenseless are not only children were. For vulnerable groups of the population – the elderly, persons with disabilities, the pandemic has become a special blow. The issue of purchasing and delivering food products and hygiene products to lonely old people remains relevant today. After all, people of the third age are at high risk and often do not have access to effective personal protective equipment. Therefore, we need to help them stay at home and not be in danger of contracting coronavirus, and we can make the existence of socially disadvantaged people more joyful and easier.

Let's be frank: no one has ever been particularly jealous of pensioners for their financial capabilities. But in quarantine for many elderly people, the situation has worsened significantly. Someone cannot go to work and does not receive additional income. Others have to spend significantly more money shipping food or medicine. Some were supported by children who are now themselves in a difficult situation.

СO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" for more than 18 years does not leave elderly people alone with their grief and problems. Caritas employees are trying to provide the highest quality comprehensive assistance, taking into account not only physical, but also spiritual and psychological problems of a person. We support the sick and the elderly in every possible way, delivering food products weekly so that they do not die during this already difficult period.

Today, 100 people need food packages. In total, we need to collect 60,000 UAH so that the old people, who were left completely alone, again do not face the terrible feeling of hunger! But, unfortunately, we are not able to purchase products in the required quantity. Therefore, we ask each of you to take part in the charitable initiative and help purchase food sets for our wards.

Do not put off taking care of grandparents – their lives directly depend on it.
