Give people with disabilities a joint recreation!

In July 2025, the project “Give people with disabilities a shared vacation!” was posted on the platform of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange dobro.ua for a total amount of UAH 41,400.00. Since the necessary part of the amount was raised from other sources of funding, the collection was stopped and the amount was reduced to the actually collected UAH 1,401.00 on the basis of letter No. 205 dated August 28, 2025.
Thanks to various fundraising events held throughout the current year, as well as donations from benefactors collected on the platform of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange dobro.ua, we were able to successfully organize a joint vacation for people with disabilities. For our friends from the “Amazing Hands” Center, a long-awaited dream came true — they spent unforgettable days at the “Shepilska” relaxation complex among the picturesque nature of the Carpathian Mountains. The total cost of accommodation was 41,400.00 UAH, including funds from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange in the amount of 1,401.00 UAH. The camp was held from September 2, 2025, to September 4, 2025.
These days were filled with movement and happiness: morning exercises, walks and swimming in the pool, spa treatments, outdoor sports games, and visits to the zoo. And in the evenings — songs accompanied by guitar, barbecues, a masquerade party, and a disco by the lake. And what is especially valuable — during these days, our young people seemed to blossom: they rested, filled themselves with positive emotions, learned new things, and most importantly — felt needed and happy.
Quantitative indicators of the project:
- 24 people with disabilities, 15 of their parents, and 7 employees and volunteers took part in a joint multi-day trip.
Qualitative indicators:
- The participants improved their mental, emotional, and physical health, enhanced their communication, social, creative, organizational, and other skills, and strengthened their friendships and parent-child relationships.

We are infinitely grateful to all the benefactors and friends of the “Amazing Hands” center for the opportunity to organize such a rich and useful vacation. It is a charge of joy, strength, and hope for the whole year!
