Marichka, who is 5 years old, knows how it is to suffocate, to run to get the brother and fail; to want to sleep and being woken up by the chinking of the cleaners’ buckets. The girl spent a lot of time of her small life in the hospital. Nowadays her lungs are so intensely ill that she cannot fully breathe. Nobody can cure the girl, but we can do that she will not suffocate – to present oxygen concentrator that will help her to breathe.

Marichka has cystic fibrosis, severe genetic disease damaging the respiratory and digestion organs. The lungs of the person with cystic fibrosis constantly accumulate sticky thick mucus. This mucus is dangerous because infections easily appear in it and it is hard to cure them. Just to breathe, one needs to take a number of medicines and a special mixture of herbs. This treatment does not always help and in some severe cases the lungs are still full of this sticky mucus and it is difficult for the air to go inside.

Oxygen concentrator filters almost pure oxygen of the surrounding air and delivers it directly to the nose. Even if a person can breathe in only a small amount, it will be enough of oxygen not to suffocate. Marichka needs this apparatus.

The girl lives in a small village and family amounts of money are not sufficient for the everyday treatment which is also very expensive leaving aside prodigious apparatus…But we can get together and help Marichka to breathe easily.
