A promise for life

2-year-old Mykyta has a cancer of both eyes. In our country this disease can be treated only by removing the eyes, and the child will never be able to see the world. However, there is a solution – a Swiss clinic in Lausanne "Hospital Ophtalmique Jules-Gonin" that agreed to treat the boy. However, this treatment requires a huge amount of money. Some are collected by the family and caring people. But what's left is still unbearable amount for the family. Let's help Mykyta for the first time to see his mother and this wonderful world!

Since March 2013, doctors are fighting for vision of Nikita. The first treatment consisted of 6 courses of chemo after irradiation. Every day for 30 days to the child under general anesthesia was performed irradiation, but this treatment didn't produce the desired result, the tumor is very aggressive, now it's needed to undergo inter arterial chemo, this treatment is very expensive due to the invoice of 74 800 francs (62 400 euros).

To date, two arterial done for inter chemo, dynamic of positive treatment in any case can't be interrupted, irreversible consequences, and the situation is extremely critical. Family of Mykyta is at a loss, they are going through a very difficult period. Tears, sleepless nights, constant fear for the life of the baby – all to a small sunshine to continue delighting and to have a possibility to see the world by his own eyes.

"It's scary when attaching all conceivable efforts, you have still saved your child, saved from death... But suddenly you realize that this is only the first step of fighting for months ahead for the normal life of your baby! But this fight is a necessarity! And you look into the eyes of your little baby, wipe his tears and begs God to send you good people who will understand your grief, your pain and they help overcome this barrier! You understand your helplessness, you know that you can't help him and the kid hopes for a miracle!! It's a hope for good hearts and sensitive souls!

We're in a difficult situation, please help! Help us heal our son! We have tried all the possibilities! But we still have the strength and the belief that we are not alone with our troubles because there are good people who can help us" - said the boy's mother with tears in her eyes.
