Old Maria sits by the window, wrapped in an old scarf. It's snowing outside, but in her heart, it's eternal winter. She remembers how she used to bake pies for the holiday table, how her grandchildren used to run around the house shouting with joy. Now her home is a ruin near Donetsk, and her memories are the only thing that warms her soul.

The war took away everything from her: her home, her loved ones, her peace. Her eyes, full of tears and wisdom, look to the future with hope. Let's give Maria and 19 other elderly people affected by the war a little warmth and joy.
