Let's present a sunshine to Maksym!

Maksym is 12 years. It's time to play with a ball, bruise the knees, learn to flirt with girls ... But Maksym is not fun. Being only 12, he is already a disabled person diagnosed with “juvenile rheumatoid arthritis with systemic irradiation ". The disease stopped Maksym’s growth, abrupt changes in body temperature, decreased immunity. Joint pains have inflammatory processes that cause the child's hellish pain ... Prognosis of doctors are disappointing: there may be complications entailing violations of other organs.

You have no idea how difficult it is to write about sick children who need our help. And it is impossible to imagine what mothers and their children with terrible diagnoses feel. Especially it is hard to realize that the dream to become a healthy, steadily developing person who loves life is so close, just a few thousand UAH. If everybody in a big shopping center donates only one hryvnia, the dream will come true. Though, everybody has his or her own problems.

Maksym counts every minute because the disease is progressing and can go into the hard stage, when there is no point to take medication. The only drug that works is "Aktempa". It does not cause allergies, provides positive dynamic treatment without side effects. But all these miracles are possible only if medicine is taken before the hormonal changes in the body of the patient, prior to adolescence. Time goes by and the State does not help. The family is broke not only morally but also financially. Thanks to the School Parent Committee and the School Parliament, money was collected for the boy's treatment. Though, they could not collect the proper amount.

And Maksym believes. He believes not only in his recovery but also his parents and doctors who promise that soon the pain will stop, and he will grow and become big and strong, that he will help his father, protect his mother. He believes in life, he sees all its paints and knows that the Sun always appears after the rain ... Let’s give the Sun to the boy!

This project was canceled, the amount collected is 2 305 UAH. The funds were disposed of in accordance with the Rules, Principles, and Procedures of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB) International Charitable Fund and the decisions of the Project Donors.
