"On the eve of St. Nicholas Daywas born our little boy Maksym. He is the fourth child in our big happy family. All of our family members love him. Being born, Maksym was very weak. The muscles of his body were weak. The verdict of doctors have stunned us: trisomy of the 21st chromosome. Our baby suffered while still in the womb as a result of oxygen deficiency. Because of this, in the mother's tummy the child ceased to grow and develop, which almost might led to cardiac arrest.

However, knowing that in my family there was an unusual kid, we did not fall into despair and try to do everything in our power. Every two months, if we do not prevent health, we visit a regional hospital where undergoing rehabilitation for children with disabilities. But despite this, our son is still strong enough physically and mentally underdeveloped. Disabilities prevent our son fully develop and interact with other children.

We want to seek help from the Center for brain stimulation in Kyiv, but we, parents, do not have enough money to pay for rehabilitation. We ask concerned people to help us because our family can not cope with the disease!"
