Give girl a dream to get on her feet!

19-year-old Evheniia Symonchuk begs for a chance to walk again! One day, being alone at home, she felt ill and dizzy. Yevheniia went out to breathe fresh air on the balcony, lost her balance and fell because of the low rail. Zhenia received very severe spinal injuries, a compression and comminuted fracture of 6-9 vertebrae, fractured ribs, spinal cord injury, contusion of two lungs, as a result of which the girl was paralyzed from the waist down.

The girl underwent the first operation immediately after hospitalization, but there was another complex operation ahead in order to install implants and fix the spine with titanium plates. After that, the doctors reported the terrible news that a long and difficult path of recovery awaits her. The girl has not stopped for 2.5 years and makes every effort to make her dream come true!

At the moment, she is learning to walk in short orthoses with and without support, she keeps her balance better, and strengthens her back. All these achievements are due to the continuous courses of rehabilitation and perseverance of the girl. The price of one rehabilitation course costs 60 thousand UAH.
