Kononovy family consists of 2 people. Mother Natasha and her daughter Masha. Girl's dad died 12 years ago. Masha is ill from birth. She was born on 8 months of pregnancy in a hard condition, was not able to breathe on her own. After prolonged artificial ventilation of the lungs, the child received swelling and cerebral hemorrhage. Doctors did not give any predictions. Miraculously, the child survived. Now Masha needs constant care, regular rehabilitation, and lifelong medication.

Masha has seizures that appeared at the age of 6 months. Because of the attacks, the doors of many rehabilitation centers are closed for her, but the rehabilitation clinic (Truskavets) takes the girl for treatment and after rehabilitation, there is always a positive dinamic. Attacks go away. In this clinic, Masha took the first steps on her own. 

In addition to the serious illness of the girl, the situation of the family is aggravated by the fact that they had to urgently leave their homes when the shelling of the Donetsk airport began (their house was nearby) and it became dangerous to stay in the city. Mom literally had to wander with a sick child in her arms. Now the family rents a one-room apartment in the city of Kramatorsk. The main part of their income they spend for rent. Mom has no opportunity to go to work, because Masha is as helpless as a baby.
