Present Maria to mom! 6

Masha's family consists of two – mother Natalia and Masha herself. The girl's father died 12 years ago at the mine. Masha has been ill since birth. She was born at 8 months and was unable to breathe on her own. After prolonged ventilation, the child developed edema and hemorrhage into the brain. Doctors did not give any predictions. Miraculously, the girl survived.

Masha and her mother lived in a beautiful apartment near the Donetsk airport before the start of hostilities in 2014. Then the fighting and shelling began and they were forced to leave everything and moved to Kramatorsk. But on February 24, 2022, the whole life in the family went awry again. Natalia was again faced with the need to save the child's life.

The Kramatorsk-Lviv route lasted 36 hours. They were oil the one train cabin with the 12 same frightened refugees, even the vestibules of the train were crowded. Natalia could not find housing in Lviv. Instead, they managed to leave to Georgia. But the heart remained in Ukraine.

Masha does not talk, needs constant care, regular rehabilitation and lifelong medication. She still has seizures, which first appeared at 6 months of age. Thanks to the support of dobro.ua donors, we procured a modern wheelchair for Masha, paid for treatment and after rehabilitation the girl was able to take independent steps. We waited together for spring to go to another important rehabilitation. But the enemy is indifferent to the problems of sick Ukrainian children...

The clinic in Truskavets is ready to accept Masha in August and has provided a bill for rehabilitation. We hope that after the treatment the girl will return home to free peaceful Kramatorsk.
