Repair children's hearts
They are just being born, and they are already forced to fight for their lives. Every year 4-5 thousand children with congenital heart defects are born in Ukraine. And a third of them, 1,600 babies, are at risk of dying if they are not operated on in the first days of life. Such babies are rescued at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Last year alone, 800 children's hearts were operated on there.

During such surgical interventions, a special "preservative" solution – Custodiol is indispensable. It protects the heart from irreversible changes, in other words, "preserves" it for the duration of the operation, so that after it the repaired organ can continue to work.
In the last few months since the coronavirus broke out, cardiac surgeons have performed only emergency surgeries, and the facility has now begun accepting children for scheduled surgeries. One heart operation is one bottle of Custodiol. Unfortunately, such an important institution as the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, where children with the most severe heart defects from all over Ukraine go, is critically underfunded by the state from year to year. So this financial burden falls on the shoulders of parents. The cost of one bottle of the much-needed Custodiol – 4,210 UAH – is often unaffordable for families. So today, to allow children with congenital heart disease to live on, we decided to buy 7 bottles. One click "Support" will bring them closer to recovery.
Doing good is easy. Children's smiles are worth it.
