Sugar all the time "jumps", and this creates a bunch of complications on blood vessels, vision, kidneys. A lot of them. Diagnoses too many. Because of the night drops of sugar you need to get up several times a night and measure the glucose in the blood. And God forbid, not make it, it can lead to coma and death.
